On Saturday, August 7th, P.E.A.K. sponsored its first annual Education Fair.  The Fair had three main objectives:

1.  Each student will have his or her own clear, tangible post-secondary education goal which they are working toward,

2.  Each student and parent/guardian will be made aware of the wide variety of supervised activities available in our area, 

3.  Each student and parent/guardian will be made aware of healthcare, social service and other support resources that students may need to stay healthy and safe, and complete their education.

The August 7th 2010 Education Fair was open to all students who live or attend school (public or private) within the Kirkwood School District boundaries.  The August event was for students who will be entering middle and high school this school year.  We hope to have an event for the elementary students in the spring.  That event will include information on summer programs for the elementary students, as well as health and educational information.

The Fair was held on the Meramec campus of St. Louis Community College.  See the photo page for pictures from the event.
