On Sunday, June 27th P.E.A.K. held a fundraiser at The Highlands Restaurant in downtown Kirkwood. The music of PRETENSE (formerly The Jam Band) was very enjoyable and showcased the talents of the members, who are local high school students.
The P.E.A.K. logo was designed by Kirkwood High School student George Hensley, who brought his whole family to support P.E.A.K. and our students. We all enjoyed meeting him and his family.
Raffle prizes were donated by Dr. Nick Hasenfratz of Maximized Living Health Center in Des Peres, Mitchell James Salon by The Galleria and The Red Cross. Nicole Franks (Avon) donated the Door Prize. Winners included Chris Butler, Jane Palisch, Sandy Conner and Tere Owens.
While everyone enjoyed a pleasant, relaxing Sunday afternoon, funds were raised for our August 7th Education Fair.

Please let your friends and family know about P.E.A.K. and its mission. Also, please encourage middle and high school students to attend our Annual Education Fair on the first Saturday in August.
